Motorola V3i Review

Posted on 20 August 2008

he Motorola V3i is the updated version of the super-slim RAZR V3. The V3i is a superb mobile: it has everything that was good about the V3 with none of the bad bits!

Physically, the V3i is virtually the same as the original RAZR phone, with the same super-slim 14mm case and chemically-etched keypad with cool back-lighting. The colour is different, but the rest is virtually unchanged. Even a year after the release of the V3, this is still a design that will turn heads. The display is the same as on the original - a very high quality 262k colour TFT screen with a high resolution of 176 x 200 pixels. The external display is full colour but small. It displays useful information like incoming calls, battery life and signal strength. Free downloading software’s Nokia Softwares

Inside the phone everything has changed. The V3’s low resolution still camera has been replaced with a 1.23 megapixel camera that is also capable of video recording. A music player has been added and there is now an expandable memory card, with storage for up to 150 tracks. Airplane mode lets you use the music player whilst on an aircraft. You may have read that the V3i comes with Apple iTunes® software, but sadly this is not available in the UK version.

The V3i also supports full Bluetooth™ wireless connectivity, MP3 ringtones, Java games, an integrated speakerphone and quad-band capability for global roaming. The battery life is reasonably good.

The V3i is still a great phone. It doesn’t have quite as many bells and whistles as newer phones like the Samsung D900 or the Sony Ericsson K800i, but it does have a good specification and bags of style. The V3i m is the same as the V3i but with the addition of iTunes®. Free Online Mobile Videos Nokia Videos
