If you belong to any home based business or network marketing business, you need to do more than simply get people to sign up to your generic marketing website. I have taken the liberty of listing some of the tools I use. They work for me, so they can work for you.

To professionally conduct business online, you need your own, personalized email address. Avoid using free email accounts such as Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail. If you use free email account, you wont be seen as dedicated or professional. It will be a LOT harder to make sales, as people will see you as somewhat of a scammer. M.J.Mascaro@mjmascaro.com looks far more professional when compared with m.j.mascaro@hotmail.com.

When you first register with a home business, you are given your own replicated website for bringing people to, if you aren’t…. WHY NOT? When i signed up with GRN, i selected my own domain name (www.joecorp1.com). You need to register a domain with hosting. The main reason for this being, you have unlimited customization options with your own website. Replicated sites only give you a certain amount of options.

To become effective and successful in marketing your home business, it is most important that you have access to the tools needed to make your business a successful one, without the right tools, you can’t succeed. A builder can’t build without his tools, a marketer cannot market without his.

You must make the home page of your new website an opt in page. This is to enable to obtain the contact details of everyone coming to your website. At this point, an auto responder is used to automate all the tasks of following up on customers. It also allows you to send broadcasts, announce company offers and get the names and emails as well as other personal details of everyone visiting your website. It keeps track of the number of people that open your emails, click on your promotional links, unsubscribe and allows you to manage everyone on your list seamlessly.

These are not just a few of the tools I use. This is IT. My own website and an auto responder, and nothing else. A home business is not as complicated as people may think, but it’s also not as easy as others think. On my team, we keep it simple, yet effective.

With anyone reading this article, I bet it is safe to say that everyone wants to be successful or get rich. In reality, about 5% of the people will ever become successful, leaving a huge percentage of 95% of the population never reaching any level of success.

Success is different for every individual. It is not just working harder, but working smarter. Part of working smarter is through personal development. Your income will NOT grow if you don’t.

Regarding the meaning of success, a $4,000 per month income might be a successful life for some, where $100,000 per year would be a total success for another, and for someone else, a million dollars ($1,000,000) would mean a successful life. Whatever it is, there are several things successful people have in common with other successful people.

A personal goal to achieve success is the single most important factor. One of those personal goals should be self-development. The better you become, the better your business becomes, the better your income becomes.

Successful people always strive to learn new things a little at a time, then set higher goals for greater accomplishments. Learning in small chunks is manageable and attainable, without feeling overwhelmed in today’s busy world.

The operative word here is ‘belief’. Find a mentor who has this ‘can-do’ attitude to learn from.

A positive attitude is contagious and when it is sincere, the people with whom you come in contact with will be drawn to you like a powerful magnet. It is amazing how much easier it is to make money and attract all the other good things in life when a person is of this mind-set.

Individuals who are successful always want to improve themselves through trainings such online webinars, seminars, reading e-books and books, listening to online or offline cd’s or audio’s, or even learning the newest methods on how to drive traffic to their website or other forms of internet marketing. Learning from millionaires or other successful people who’ve already made their fortunes online or offline are the best ones to learn from.

Internet marketing has become the equivalent to the California Gold Rush of 1849. (My 5th generation uncle was there, so I can knew there was something this analogy!) There is so much free information to look at before you buy. You can even download e-books and software and keep it just for looking. Most of these articles or e-books are written by other successful people showing you how because they used the very same ‘tool’ to succeed.

People who are successful constantly seek methods to improve themselves because they believe in themselves and know that success has a price. The return on the investment is small or even a zero, if they do not improve themselves and if they do, the rewards are good to great.

All successful people know they create their own destiny and have this ability over all other creatures. Each person must chose their own fate and control their own lives for their ultimate goals in life.

Too Many Home Based Offers-how Do I Choose The Right One For Me?

This article is about how to prevent you from picking a business that is full of ‘fluff’. In other words, these are the ‘no-fluff’ preventative measures for finding a home based business with so many out of them out there!

These companies may have been in business for a while and have a big corporate office. It makes it look really good, right? These companies have products that everyone else has and can be hard to sell for the average person.

Most of the time, these type of businesses make their money from the representative, and some of the money comes in from the products. They say you must be on their regular auto-ship, monthly plan, so this is guaranteed income for them.

The compensation plans for these companies are not very good, usually paying the distributor a few % up to 25%. The levels or matrixes are hard to balance out, but their top sponsor will train you on how to make it work effectively, and it is never as easy as it is taught.

It is hard to know how to pick a company on your own since one company will be similar to another, but the hype of the ‘next best latest thing’ about this one company persuaded you to believe it was a better deal than ‘those others’. So how do you discern a good company from the rest of them?

The first thing to remember is that you are looking because you want to make real money, not a small tiny percentage or profit. You want to be honest, not rip anyone off and feel good when the day is done. You want to find out everything you can about a company since you are the one who wants more money.

If a company’s pay plan is less than 75%, forget them! Your time and many hours working will not be worth it. They will be ‘using you’ for all you have given them and they will make much more profit than you will.

Most companies compensation plan pays you very well ONCE you reach 1000’s of people. While this can be done by only some people, it is quite rare and it is very hard work. The average person will not be able to do this.

If the company does not offer much training, then turn in the other direction….fast! If they tell you to contact people you know, then run even faster! These kind of companies are only interested in you buying their products -not training you to have a lucrative business.

If you cannot profit in a few sales, then there’s a sign, too. If you the owners hide behind email, aren’t available when you call customer service or do not call you back, then there is another sign. Ask yourself why they do not want to talk to you. Are they afraid of the tough questions?

If it is a brand new company, then be careful. Make sure they are have their ducks in a row. Every company has to start somewhere, but make sure they are solid. If you get a feeling they are not on solid ground, then just don’t get involved. You’d have better chances at a casino than with them!

I hope this guideline has helped you. If you follow this advice along with using your own good judgement and that little voice we all have within us. Be patient and ask every question you can think of to make that good choice!

When you have organized an affiliate account, you can then begin looking for products to offer. The ClickBank site has a marketplace full of information products that can be sold automatically. Choose products based on how many copies have already sold (the marketplace gives you the statistics) so you know that the product and the customer service are tested and reliable and that it will sell well.

The number of returns is also a consideration but unfortunately that information is harder to find out. You do not want to align yourself with a horrible product that gets many complaints and poor feedback. Google the name of the site and see what people are saying about it, if it is positive you are probably alright.

Did you know you can set up and affiliate account with Amazon and sell all of their products for a commission? Imagine all the thousands of people flocking to that site constantly, if you could be the one to direct them then you could make some good money. You know the site is trustworthy and will pay you and you know the products are good quality.

The final element of making cash as an affiliate marketer is to get traffic to your affiliate page or link. Most affiliate marketers do this by creating websites that are full of articles setting their affiliate links inside those articles and other content. The subject matter draws visitors from search engines (with some additional work) who then see your offers and hopefully go through and buy things.

To make good money as an affiliate marketer online you are going to have devote the time to learn how to do it effectively, visit forums on the subject, buy some material, but more importantly, take action and learn as you go along!
